Michelle possesses a Master of Social Work degree and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has been working in the Human Service field for the last sixteen years and has been with AdvantageEAP for the past seven years. Michelle’s well-rounded wealth of experience is what makes her so effective in working with AdvantageEAP Services. Sheri Bland, MSW, LCSW EAP Community Liaison
Sheri Bland holds a Masters Degree of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin and has twenty years experience in organizations including hospitals, mental health, private practice and consultations. Her background includes administration, supervision and training, policy and procedure development and implementation, quality management and organizational improvement, marketing and public speaking. Her strengths lie in creative and practical solution-focused resolution to the obstacles that occur with individuals and organizations. She has excelled in building teamwork to accomplish the goals and vision of the organizations she has worked with. Sheri has presented educational workshops and professional trainings to groups of 30 – 800 on over sixty topics to clients, community groups and professionals. She has appeared as a featured speaker for a national conference as well as retreats, a regular speaker on a national radio talk show with one million listeners and on local radio programs, and was interviewed on a television talk show.
Edward Rickert, MS, LCPC Vice President for Special Programs
Ed began his career in behavioral health as a program worker at Singer Mental Health Center, a state operated inpatient facility in Rockford, Illinois. After several years in a variety of positions, he moved to community based mental health programs working at Sinnissippi Centers in Dixon and then at Family Service. He has been affiliated with Family Service since 1979. At present, he serves as Vice President for Adult Mental Health Services and is a firm believer that mental wellness is as vital as physical wellness. |
